SUN-FOIL Sun Screens
Purpose:
To determine the ambient air and glare-shield temperatures of a parked aircraft with and without SUN-FOIL Sun Screens installed.
Test Parameters:
A Piper Malibu remaining stationary for a period of five consecutive days was used for the test. Recording thermometers were placed in the aircraft; one was placed on the glare-shield, the other on the co-pilot's arm rest. Temperatures were read each day at 5:00pm with the aircraft remaining sealed for a period of twenty-four hours.
